Well I just spent the last 7 hours on Network Mode and got up to HR5 which I'm quite pleased with. This is without playing the same quest over and over like I did on MHGii, even then I only got up to HR3 I think.
I got the last piece of makaraito to upgrade my boneaxe and so did that, plus made a big pile of Rudorosu armour for the next time I take on RoaRudorosu.
Boruborosu is next though...
